MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 continues to decay especially within its trailing polarity portion which is currently nearly spotless. The largest event 2473 produced since the last message was a C4.3 at 12/30/22:45 UT. 2473 has an active filament located along its main magnetic inversion line and is displaying frequent bright and dark surging. Another C-class event is possible but an M-class event is less likely in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2473 on December 31 at 15:35 UT is: S21W56 (Solar X = 756", Solar Y = -324")
