Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased from the last message but still is at a low level. The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C4.3 event at 17:02 UT yesterday from NOAA 14063 approaching the West limb. Several low-C class events were reported from multiple regions, like NOAA 14064, 14062 and a bright plage rotated from the Northeast limb.
The target region, the source region of two M class flares (M4.5 on 4/18 and M1.0 on 4/20) from behind the Southeast limb, is still unnumbered but appears to be a compact region formed by 3 small sunspots. This region only produced a low C class flare in the past 24 hours, but maintains rapid intensity fluctuations in EUV wavelengths. We will continue to observe this region for another 24 hours. C class flares are expected, with a slight chance of an isolated low M class event.
The position of the target on 21-April-2025 at 16:00 UT is: S26E66 (-783", -398").
