Dear Collaborators,
The newly emerged region in the northwest quadrant has now been designated as NOAA 12801, and is classified as having a beta/B-type configuration. The region has remained quiescent since the last message but shall continue to be the target region. No significant change in activity expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12801 on 3-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N31W50, ( 640", 557" )
