Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. There were only some very minor events (low-to-mid B-class) emanating from the three numbered sunspot regions on the solar disk. The target region NOAA 12598 remains its beta/D-type classification with increasing sunspot area slightly. Only B-class activities are expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 12598 on October 8 at 15:30 UT is:
N14W19 (304", 134")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
