Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
There is currently a long-duration B6.9 flare in progress in NOAA 11580 in the northwest quadrant; the flare had a rise time of over 3.5 hours. The target region NOAA 11585 however remains mostly unchanged but is still bright in H-alpha and X-ray emission. No significant increase in activity expected at this time.
The position of NOAA 11585 on 5-Oct-2012 at 09:00 UT is:
S18E34, ( -509", -381" )
