MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is extremely low. The visible solar disk is spotless. The background x-ray flux is flat at the A1.0 level. The decaying plage target is mostly unchanged. The small filament located along the target's main magnetic inversion line was somewhat active during the past 24 hours. No noteworthy solar flare activity expected anytime soon.
The position of the target on January 09 at 13:45 UT is: N12E15 (Solar X = -248", Solar Y = 267")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
