Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. A small number of flares were produced, the largest being a C9.1 from NOAA 14233 at 19:55 UT yesterday. NOAA 14236 has almost passed beyond the solar limb, it remains in proximity to several active regions that are transiting the northwestern limb including NOAA 12433. This region will likely move out of view in the next 24 hours, but until then NOAA 14236 and the surrounding regions will remain the target. Further C-class activity is expected.
The position of NOAA 14236 on 08-October-2025 at 00:30 UT is
N09W90, (948", 149") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
