Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at an extremely low level. A small spotted region is currently emerging slightly North West of disk centre. This unnumbered region appears to be a beta/B-type sunspot group classification, but might have formed a rudimentary penumbra on its primary leading spot (making it a beta/C-type). No significant flares have occurred in the past 24 hours. B-class flares are possible in the next 24-hour period if this region continues to emerge new flux.
The approximate position of this region on 8-Sep-2018 at 16:30 UT is:
N05W09, ( 148", 47" )
