Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further increased since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C9.2 flare at 05:22 UT today from NOAA 14207 (N30E17, beta/F-type), which also produced five additional low C-class flares. Today, the default target shall switch to this region due to its ongoing flux emergence. In addition, NOAA 14211 (S14E49, alpha/H- type), 14199 (N04W58, beta/C-type), and yesterday’s target region NOAA 14197 (S18W72, beta/F-type) produced several more low C-class flares during the period. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated M-class flare in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14207 on 4-Sep-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N30E17 (-241",374")
