Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at extremely low levels with GOES soft X-ray flux remaining at a background level. The previous target plage region NOAA 12717 continues to decay. A new region in the North East quadrant, showing bright EUV emission and displaying some tiny pores will become the new target. No significant flaring activity is expected over the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 6-Aug-2018 at 16:00 UT is:
N05E55, ( -774", 24" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
