MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target EFR (NOAA 2898) continued in a strong growth phase during its west limb passage. The EFR was the source of 8 B-class and 7 C-class events since the last message. The largest was a C4.2 at 12/04/05:15 UT. The region is now almost completely beyond the southwestern limb but it could still produce occulted C-class activity with even a very slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2898 on December 04 at 15:00 UT is: S27W89 (Solar X = 868", Solar y = -442")
