Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a high level for the past 24 hours. The largest event since the last message was an M5.4 flare at 00:41 UT today from the target region, which has been numbered as NOAA 13311. This region also produced another 5 M-class (M1.1, M3.9, M4.5, M1.6, M2.5) plus multiple C-class flares and has been classified as a beta/D-type configuration with a high and increasing current helicity. Today the Major Flare Watch region shall remain this region, which is likely to remain flare productive. Further low M-class activities are expected over the following 24-48 hours, with a chance for another above M5 flare.
