Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a very low level since the last message. NOAA 14266 produced the largest event, a B7.3 flare at 05:38 UT today. This region has been downgraded to a beta/B-type, with its leading portion fragmenting somewhat. Today, the target shall switch to NOAA 14266. Yesterday’s target NOAA 14262 (beta/C-type, S13W66) has been flare-quiet in the period. Further B-class activity is expected in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14266 on 28-Oct-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
N16W16 (256", 192")
