MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1589 has increased its sunspot area and magnetic complexity somewhat with penumbral growth within its northern portion. Continued growth might result in a delta configuration. 1589 is currently classified as a D-type/beta-gamma region. C-class activity probable with an isolated M-class event possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1589 on October 13 at 13:00 UT is: N13E26 (Solar X = -412", Solar Y = 128")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
