Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at extremely low levels with the visible solar disk remaining spotless. STEREO-A images suggest that a small compact region could rotate over the northeast limb in the coming days. This potential region shall continue to be the target for the next 24 hours although no increase in activity is expected at this time.
The approximate position of the target region on 24-Aug-2020 at 11:00 UT is:
N30E89, ( -822", 470" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
