MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a very minor A8.2 at 11/28/07:01 UT produced by NOAA 2689. 2689 is maintaining a C-type/beta sunspot group but is slowly decaying especially within its trailing portion. No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2689 on November 28 at 16:30 UT is: N13W44 (Solar X = 660", Solar Y = 205")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
