Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. In addition to a series of C-class events, yesterday's target (NOAA 12017) was responsible for the largest events since the previous message, a M2.0 on 28-Mar-2014 at 19:18 UT and a M2.6 on 28-Mar-2014 at 23:51 UT. The region now shows evidence for both further flux emergence and strong shearing within its main delta-spot, within the North-West portion of the AR. Due to the enhanced probability for a M5.0 or greater event, a Major Flare Watch is now in effect. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a moderate to high M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12017 on 29-Mar-2014 at 15:00 UT is:
N10W28, ( 450", 264" )
