Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at extremely low levels. There have been some small increases in the GOES 0.5-4A flux since the last message, possibly due to an emerging flux region in the northeast quadrant. Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time, but it shall be the target region for the next 24 hours. No significant increase in activity expected.
The approximate position of the target region on 18-Dec-2019 at 12:30 UT is:
N22E80, ( -891", 369" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
