Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 13112 has now completely rotated its coronal structure out of view over the North West limb. NOAA 13119 (a beta/C-type sunspot group) was the only numbered region to produce a flare since the last message - a B7.9 flare on 16-Oct-2022 at 07:58 UT. A new spot region is in the process of emerging in the South West quadrant and previously produced a B6.9 flare on 15-Oct-2022 at 11:32 UT. This new region has a beta magnetic configuration and either a B- or C-type Zurich class. B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for some C-class flares if this new spot region continues to emerge new flux.
The approximate position of this region on 16-Oct-2022 at 16:00 UT is:
S35W36 , ( 465", -615" )
