MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2268 is mostly unchanged maintaining its E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. It was the source of minor C-class activity since the last message. C-class events with a chance of another M-class event is possible in the next 24 hours. 2268 will remain the target for at least the next 24 period. Old NOAA 2257 is currently located just beyond the northeastern limb at approximately N07. 2257 was the source of countless C-class events and a few M-class events (the largest was an M5.6 at 01/13/04:24 UT) on its first rotation of the visible disk. It produced a couple of limb occulted C-class events today.
The position of NOAA 2268 on January 27 at 11:30 UT is: S10E18 (Solar X = -298", Solar Y = -079")
