Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C6.1 flare at 01:55 UT today(3/1) from the boundary area between NOAA 14380 and 14379. Both regions appear to be in the decaying process.
The region having been behind the limb in the East of NOAA 14381, the supposed source of several C class flares since yesterday, has come into our view. This unnumbered region produced several C class flares in the past 24 hours, with the largest being a C4.7 at 21:18 UT yesterday. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14381 produced 6 C class flares in the period, including a C5.2 at 6:07 UT and a C5.9 at 7:30 UT today.
Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14381 at the central region with mixed polarity between its leading and following sunspots. Additional C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14381 on 1-March-2026 at 17:00 UT is: N08E59 (-828", 196").
