MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues extremely low. The current background x-ray flux is flat at the A3 level. The visible solar disk is currently spotless. The tiny B-type/beta sunspot group in the small target region slowly decayed during the last 24 hour period. No significant solar flare activity expected anytime soon.
The position of the target on January 03 at 15:30 UT is: N18W21 (Solar X = 334", Solar Y = 353")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
