Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C6.6 flare at 14:07 UT yesterday from NOAA 13860. 13860 just emerged yesterday and was designated as a beta/D-type configuration. The target region NOAA 13854 produced two C-class flares (C5.7 and C3.8) today and has been downgraded to a beta-gamma/E-type region. 13854 will remain as the target today before it rotates over the west limb. C-class activities are expected from various regions in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13854 on October 18 at 07:30 UT is:
S06W64 (862", -141")
