Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 11820 has started to decay in the past 24 hours, decreasing in spot area and number of spots as well as being classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. NOAA 11820 produced two C-class events since yesterday's message, the largest being a C1.9 flare on 22-Aug-2013 at 23:56 UT that might have been magnetically connected to NOAA 11830. NOAA region 11830 will be the new target as it has shown signs of new flux emergence in the past 24 hours and has formed mature leading and following spots. Further C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 11830 on 23-Aug-2013 at 10:30 UT is:
S06W57, ( 791", -162" )
