Solar activity has returned to low levels with only a C1.9 flare since the last message. The target region NOAA 12544 has continued to decay but is now classified as a beta-gamma region. Chance for additional isolated C-class flares over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12544 on 16-May-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N20W27, ( 406", 359" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
