Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12514 grew marginally in spot area over the previous 24 hours, but remained a beta/C-type sunspot group. NOAA 12512 initially decreased in magnetic complexity over the same period (to an alpha/H-type sunspot group class), but recently showed signs of flux emergence. This region has produced 6 B-class flares since the last message, including the largest event of the period (a B7.2 on 6-Mar-2016 at 04:58 UT). B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12512 on 6-Mar-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N11W28, ( 449", 290" )
