Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a background level (~A1 in the GOES soft X-ray flux). The target region NOAA 12765 is stable and remains classified as an alpha/H-type configuration. 12765 has almost rotated over the west limb only with some overlying loops being visible. No change in flaring activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of NOAA 12765 on June 16 at 09:30 UT is:
S26W89 (860", -450")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
