Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at extremely low levels. The plage region along the central meridian has almost completely disappeared. The target region shall revert back to NOAA 12766 in the northwest quadrant, which remains spotless and quiescent. No change in activity expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12766 on 9-Jul-2020 at 11:00 UT is:
N04W47, ( 690", 23" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
