Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a very low level since the last message. The largest event was a C1.8 flare yesterday at 20:19 UT from NOAA 13945 (S07W79). The target region NOAA 13947 (N13W56) produced only a C1.7 flare yesterday. This region maintains a beta-gamma configuration and shall remain the target. Additionally, a southeast region (S06E64, unnumbered yet) produced two low C-class flares (C1.5 and C1.7) in the period. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight possibility of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13947 on 12-Jan-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
N13W56 (789",259")
