Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message. The target region NOAA 14055 produced 5 M-class flares during the past 24 hours with the largest being an M4.2 event at 6:36 UT today (4/14). While it is undergoing limb passage today, NOAA 14055 is the only region on the disk producing flares above C class.
We will continue to observe NOAA 14055 as the Major Flare Watch target for another 24 hours. Additional M class flares are expected over the West limb, with a chance of an event larger than M5.
The position of the target in NOAA 14055 on 14-April-2025 at 15:30 UT is: N09W84 (939", 159").
