Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C4.0 flare at 17:38 UT on March 8 due to a filament eruption from a limb region (S06E89). The target region NOAA 14012 was the source of seven C1-C2 flares during the period. 14012 retains a beta-gamma/E-type configuration but experiences a further decay. Additional C-class activities are expected in the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 14012 on March 9 at 04:30 UT is:
S14W25 (397", -125")
