Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level. The largest event since the last message was an isolated M2.4 flare at 03:28 UT today produced by the target NOAA 13964. 13964 was also the source of more than ten C-class flares in the period. It has been designated as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type configuration but decreasing the sunspot area and number of spots slightly as it rotates to the west limb. Additional low M-class activity is probable with some chance of an above M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13964 on January 19 at 04:30 UT is: N06W50 (744", 155")
