Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. The largest event over the past 24 hours was a C4.0 flare at 17:20 UT yesterday produced by NOAA 14304 (N25W89) that has rotated over the west limb. The target region NOAA 14307 produced a C1.3 flare plus three high B-class flares during the period. 14307 retains a beta/D-type configuration with increasing the sunspot area. Today we will continue to watch this region. C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14307 on December 16 at 08:30 UT is: S15W53 (753", -242")
