Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low-to-moderate level. The target region NOAA 14079 (N09W59, beta-gamma/E-type) remained the most flare-productive region in the period, being the source of nine C-class flares, including two middle C-class flares (C6.4 and C4.9). Today the target shall remain with this region, although NOAA 14082 (S10W00) produced the largest event in the period —a C7.1 flare at 14:54 UT yesterday. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14079 on 9-May-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N09W59 (806",176")
