Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. A number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C3.7 from NOAA 14153 at 10:59 UT today. NOAA 14167 still shows notable sunspot dynamism despite not yet producing any large flares, and remains classified as a beta-gamma region. NOAA 14167 will continue as the target region, with further C-class activity expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14167 on 02-August-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N10W31, (481", 81") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
