Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a low level. NOAA region 11730 has decayed significantly in the previous 24 hours, decreasing in spot area and number of spots. This region is now classified by NOAA as a beta/C-type sunspot group and produced only two low C-class events since yesterday's message. NOAA 11731 has also produced only two low C-class events since the M1.1 flare on 2-May-2013 at 04:58 UT. This region will remain the target as it has maintained spot area, number of spots, and a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group classification. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for another low M-class event.
The position of NOAA 11731 on 3-May-2013 at 09:30 UT is:
N09W36, ( 558", 201" )
