Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels. The largest event since the last message was a B9.9 flare from NOAA 12652 on the western limb. Alpha-region NOAA 12653 has remained quiescent and unchanged but shall continue to be the target region. Slight chance of an isolated low level event.
The position of NOAA 12653 on 1-May-2017 at 13:30 UT is:
S09W54, ( 762", -109" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
