Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at an extremely low level. NOAA 12617 maintained spot area and number of spots on its approach up to the West limb. 12617 maintained classification as a beta/C-type sunspot group and produced the only flare since the last message (a B2.5 on 15-Dec-2016 at 03:24 UT). More low B-class flares may be possible in the next 24 hours as 12617 rotates fully over the West limb.
The position of NOAA 12617 on 15-Dec-2016 at 20:00 UT is:
N16W90, ( 937", 269" )
