Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message. The largest event was an M2.8 flare at 08:55 UT today from target region NOAA 14246 (N24W23). This region has evolved to a beta-gamma configuration and, during the period, produced an additional M1.9 flare, two flares of approximately M1.0, and eight C-class flares. The target remains NOAA 14246 today given its ongoing significant flux emergence. NOAA 14248 (N06E08, beta-gamma/D-type) also produced six C-class flares, including a C9.5 today. Further C-class activity is expected, with additional low M-class events possible in the next 24–48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14246 on 13-October-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N24W23, (344",305")
