MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The Major Flare Watch target region NOAA 2975 has almost completed west limb passage. At this time we will suspend the Major Flare Watch. NOAA regions 2975, 2976 and 2984 were the source of several C-class events since the last message. The largest was a C6.4 at 04/03/13:09 UT produced by 2976 (N17W74). The target will continue to monitor the three northwestern limb regions for the next 24 hour period. C-class activity likely with an isolated M-class event still possible.
The position of NOAA 2975/2984 on April 04 at 14:00 UT is: N15W88 (Solar X = 926", Solar Y = 250")
