Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further increased to a moderate level since the last message. The largest event in the period was an M1.6 flare at 20:10 UT yesterday (1/14) produced by the target region, which was registered as NOAA 14341. This region also produced a C9.8 flare at 6:20 UT today and 3 more low-C class flares in the past 24 hours.
NOAA 14341 underwent new flux emergence in the Southwestern vicinity of the main sunspot area with negative polarity, which appears to be the source of recent flares from this region. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14341 at the Southwest side of the main negative sunspots, expecting additional C to M class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14341 on 15-January-2026 at 17:00 UT is: S11E61 (-837", -165").
