Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a background level and the visible solar disk remains spotless. The target plage region appears to hold a small and quiet filament as seen from AIA 304 images. No increase in activity expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on May 25 at 07:30 UT is:
N32W25 (350", 520")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
