Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains elevated although NOAA 12891 has remained relatively quiescent. Much of the C-class activity over the past 24 hours, and the M1.4 flare at 07:30 UT today, has come from NOAA 12887. This shall be the default target region once again. The region currently has a beta-gamma configuration, but is showing signs of decay as it crosses the central meridian. Further C-level activity expected, with chance for an additional isolated M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12887 on 28-Oct-2021 at 07:30 UT is:
S26W00, ( 0", -495" )
