Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has grown to a moderate level over the past 24 hours. The largest event was an M1.8 flare at 18:55 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 14191. This region retains an alpha/H-type classification, with the emergence of additional pores in its intermediate portion. Today, the target shall continue as 14191. Besides, a limb region (S18E87, unnumbered yet) also produced a partially occulted M1.7 flare at 17:56 UT yesterday, accompanied by a CME. More C-class activity is expected, with another low-M flare likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14191 on 23-Aug-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N10E45 (-662", 83")
