Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at very low levels, with NOAA 12812 now behind the western limb. A newly-emerged region in the northwest quadrant has produced a series of A-class flares since the last message and shall be the new target region. The region has a clear beta configuration but is currently unnumbered. Chance for increased activity over the next 24 hours if the region continues to develop.
The approximate position of the target region on 3-Apr-2021 15:30 UT is:
N19W17, ( 266", 409" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
