Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased slightly since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C1.9 flare at 07:03 UT today from a newly emerged region NOAA 14383 (N15W62). Yesterday’s target NOAA 14384 (N09E33, beta/E-type) produced only several high B-class flares during the period. Today, we will switch the target to NOAA 14381 (N08E09, beta/ C-type), as it is undergoing significant flux emergence in its trailing portion. C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14381 on 5-March-2026 at 12:30 UT is
N08E09, (-150",253")
