Dear Collaborators,
The target region NOAA 12907 was the source of about ten C-class flares in the past 24 hours, with the largest one being a C8.1 at 12/15/10:31 UT. 12907 retains its beta-gamma/D-type configuration but increasing in the sunspot area and number of spots. The newly emerged region as mentioned in the last message has been numbered as NOAA 12908 (S21E55) and 12909 (S21E67) with a beta/D-type sunspot group, the latter of which has produced a C1.3 flare. If possible, please include all the three regions in your field of view. Further C-class activities are expected with a chance of an M-class flare in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 12907 on December 16 at 04:30 UT is:
S21E36 (-536", -336")
