MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low for the past 24 hours. The current background x-ray flux is at the B1.7 level. The largest event since the last message was a minor B4.3 produced by target region NOAA 2519. The reversed polarity EFR located adjacent to the large leader sunspot has significantly decayed in the past 24 hours. The target will switch to the large E-type/beta region located in the northeastern quadrant. B-class events probable with the chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2524 on March 17 at 15:30 UT is: N14E68 (Solar X = -869", Solar Y = 275")
