Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 13599 has maintained spot area since the last message, but lost the delta configuration to be classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. NOAA 13599 continued to produce most flares in the period in the form of several C-class flares as well as the largest magnitude flare, an M1.3 on 8-Mar-2024 at 21:18 UT. More C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for another M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13599 on 9-Mar-2024 at 16:30 UT is:
S12W25 , ( 400" , -91" )
