Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has been very high. Yesterday's target NOAA 12673 produced an X8.2 flare on 10-Sep-2017 at 15:35 UT, but it has now rotated over the SW limb. The most complex region on disk is NOAA 12674, which is now approaching the NW limb. C-class activity is possible over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12674 on 11-Sep-2017 at 20:30 UT is:
N13W89, ( 928", 215" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
